Eight hours on my feet and no ache

I am a school receptionist and I am up and down all day. I put these in my flats on the Monday and by Friday I realised I had stopped taking my shoes off under the desk. That is the whole review, really.

Bought them for me, ended up buying for Mum too

Gave two pairs to my mother, who is 71 and has trouble with her shoes. She rang the next day asking where I got them.

Finally wearing the loafers I paid too much for

Those loafers sat in the wardrobe for two years because the back rubbed my heel raw. With these in they are comfortable enough for a full day at the office. Nobody can tell there is anything in the shoe.

They do not slide down

The silicone band actually holds. I walk 6km a day and they have not moved once.

Soft, and thinner than I expected

Lovely soft cotton and real cushioning without making my shoes tight. Would like them in navy.

My plantar fasciitis is far better

Three weeks in and the morning pain in my heel has settled a lot. I am wearing my flats again.

Washes well

Fourth wash and they still have their shape and the padding has not gone flat. Air dry, as they say.

Wore them to a wedding and danced all night

Block heels, six hours on a concrete floor. I expected to be barefoot by nine and I was not.

Sound familiar?

Hard shoes. Hard floors. Nothing in between.

Eight hours on a hard floor, and the shoes come off the moment you sit down.
You bought insoles. They fit your runners and nothing else.
There are shoes in your wardrobe you love and never wear.
An ordinary no-show sock is two layers of fabric. It changes nothing.

If any of that sounds like your week — this is the layer your shoes are missing.

Made differently

Three things a sock doesn't have

Cushioned sponge footbed seen from underneath

01

A real sponge footbed

A moulded cushion under the ball and the heel — the two spots that carry your whole day. Thick enough to feel underfoot, thin enough to still fit.

Ballet flats worn with the liner — nothing shows at the shoe line

02

Cut below the shoe line

Sits under the edge of a flat or a loafer. You get the cushioning. Nobody sees where it came from.

Close-up of the 100% cotton knit

03

100% cotton

Pure cotton bottom with shock-absorbing sponge cushion.

Ordered these after seeing them here twice. I work in aged care, twelve hour shifts, and I have tried every insole at the chemist. These are the first thing I can wear in my flats without my toes hitting the front of the shoe. Two weeks in and my heels are not sore of a morning.

Bought a pack for me and one for my mum. She is 74 and would not stop talking about them at Sunday lunch.

Sceptical about the price for socks, honestly. Then I put them in the boots I never wear because the leather rubs, and wore them all day at the markets. Not a blister. I get it now.

They do not slip. That is all I wanted.

The honest bit

Why it costs more than a sock

Because it isn't one. An ordinary no-show sock is two layers of fabric with nothing underneath it. This has a moulded sponge footbed — insole cushioning, cut thin enough to sit inside a ballet flat. You are not paying for socks. You are paying for the layer inside them.

FAQ

Will they show in my shoes?

The cut sits below the shoe line on flats, loafers and low-vamp shoes. In very low-cut ballet flats you may see a thin edge at the arch — the same as any liner sock.

Will they slip off my heel?

No. An anti-slip silicone band runs inside the heel and grips your skin rather than the shoe, so it stays put all day. It's the part ordinary no-shows leave out, which is why they slide.

Do they fit my size?

One size fits all. The knit stretches across the width, so there's no size to choose at checkout.

Can I wear them with heels?

Yes. The sponge is thickest under the ball of the foot, which is where your weight sits in a heel. Best with closed-toe styles.

How do I wash them?

Machine wash cold with your regular load and air dry. Don't tumble dry — heat will flatten the sponge base over time.

How long does delivery take?

9–15 business days anywhere in Australia, free on every order. You'll get tracking by email once it ships.

What if they don't fit or I don't like them?

Email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund you in full.

What are they made of?

100% cotton knit upper, moulded sponge base, silicone heel band. The cotton handles moisture, the sponge handles impact.
